Victorian High Tea Parties with Garden Visit

Treat yourself to High Tea at our 1880 heritage Victorian villa. Imagine fine china, vintage tablecloths, embroidered serviettes, tiered cake stands and elegant silverware. Delicious homemade treats include scones, cheese puffs and mini-cupcakes, pasteries and a selection of sandwiches.

Relax and enjoy the peaceful ambience of our Victorian villa and stroll around our beautiful gardens or in the winter warm the winter chill away in front of our authentic Victorian fire place. What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon with family and friends!

High Teas are available on Sundays only from 1:00 to 3:00.

The table is served with a selection of lemon curd, berry jam, apricot jam and cream.

A selection of Fine Teas are also on offer. Coffee can be served, however, this will be at an extra charge of $3nz

The cost of High Tea at The Pleace and Plenty is $37nz per person including a glass of wine.

We also host High Tea Parties for groups of up 30 people - perfect for Christmas Parties, Birthdays, Victorian Wedding Parties, Anniversaries, Women's Organizations and Church Groups. We can arrange a convenient time for your party and your High Tea lasts approximately two hours.

Victorian Dress is optional - feel free to wear your favourite hat or we have a wonderful selection of Victorian Hats to complete your special afternoon high tea if you wish! Most of our customers just love choosing their "HAT" although you also have the freedom to just come as you are.
